Water levels are dropping fast and so are the options for river runs in the evening. The rain today has increased the Bow river flow so it’s time to return to our old standby….. The Bow River below Ghost dam. This is a classic beginner river run but be aware that there is a bit of a hike to the put-in and take-out.
To join us you need to be a Paddle Junkie member.
This run involves a short car shuttle. Please come prepared to wear a mask in the car.
Meet at the north side Ghost Dam TransAlta gate (just past the entrance to the Cottage Club). The evenings are getting shorter so be ready to shuttle at 6 pm.
