We’ll be running a section of the Sheep River from the Gorge Creek to Sandy McNabb. Join us for a fun evening on the river. This is a class 2+ run.
Meet at the “Sandy McNabb Picnic Area” side at 3:15pm. Once everyone has arrived and is ready we will shuttle cars to the Gorge Creek and get on the river.
If water level will be to high, run can be postponed – check your email a few days before run.
Requirements:
-
- It’s Class 2+ run and basic maneuvers will be required to avoid hazards. You have to already know how to do a Eddy Turns and Ferry on class 2 water (like Harvie Passage) to participate. These skills will be checked right after we start the run. If you are not sure if you are ready, please message us and we can discuss further!
- You must be an active 2023 member of Paddle Junkies to sign up (if you’re having issues signing up for the event, please ensure that you are signed into the website and have paid your 2023 membership fees. If it still doesn’t work, please message us!)
- Bring your own gear – your boat with two functional flotation bags, PFD, helmet, and paddle.
- Also, it’s actually required to carry a whistle and rope on each watercraft (see the section on Water Safety Kits in the link), so if you don’t have those yet, consider purchasing them very soon.
Bookings
This event is fully booked.

Any way to be notified if someone drops out? Would be interested if a spot opens up.
Sure, if someone cancel we put you next on the list.
