We’ll run a section of the Elbow River from the Elbow River Launch to the Paddy Flat. Join us for a fun evening on the river. This is a run for paddlers with experience running class 2 rivers.
Meet at the “Elbow River Launch – Provincial Recreation Area” put in at 6:00pm, once everyone has arrived and is ready, we will shuttle cars down to the Paddy Flat and get on the river.
Requirements:

- It’s Class 2+ run and basic maneuvers are required to avoid hazards. You have to know how to perform a correct Eddy Turns and Ferry on class 2 water (like Harvie Passage) to participate. These skills will be checked right after we start the run. If you are not sure if you are ready, please message us and we can discuss further!
- You must be an active 2025 member of Paddle Junkies to sign up
- Bring your own gear – your boat with two functional flotation bags, PFD, helmet, paddle, throwbag.
