We’ll be running a section of the Sheep River from the Gorge Creek to Sandy McNabb. This is a class 2+ run. Join us for one of the most beautiful class 2 run in our area.
Meet at the “Sandy McNabb Picnic Area” side at 3:30pm. Once everyone has arrived and is ready we will shuttle cars to the Gorge Creek and get on the river.
If water level will be too high or low, run can be postponed – check your email a day before the run if there are any updates.
Requirements:

- It’s Class 2+ run and basic maneuvers are required to avoid hazards! You have to know how to perform a correct Eddy Turns and Ferry on class 2 water (like Harvie Passage) to participate. These skills will be checked right after we start the run. If you did runs like eg. lower Elbow or Kananaskis race course before you are good to go. If you are not sure if you are ready, please message us and we can discuss further!

- Bring your own gear – your boat with two functional flotation bags, PFD, helmet, paddle, throwbag.
