We’ll be running a lower section of the Kananaskis River, from Canoe Meadows to Seebe Dam. It’s a class 2 section.
Kananaskis river is dam controlled, and because we still don’t know the dam schedule the tentative time to meet at the paring loot is 1pm, next to picnic tables. We will send a time update on your email a couple days before the run.
Requirements:

- You need to have taken an intro to whitewater course or have comparable experience. If this is not yet the case, please message us and we can discuss further!
- You must be an active 2024 member of Paddle Junkies to sign up
- Bring your own gear – your boat with float bags, PFD, helmet, spray skirt and paddle.
- Also, it’s actually required to carry a whistle and rope on each watercraft, so if you don’t have those yet, consider purchasing them very soon
