We’ll be running a lower section of the Red Deer River. Put in below the Double Ledge rapid. It’s a 3km run, class 2+.
Meet at the Tim Hortons parking loot in Sundre, at 10:30am, once everyone has arrived we will get on the river.

Requirements:

- It’s class 2+ run, you should have a couple days in class 2 environment already, be comfortable doing eddy turns and ferry in moving water. Occasional easy maneuvering around small rocks may be required. If this is not yet the case, please message us and we can discuss further!
- You must be an active 2024 member of Paddle Junkies to sign up
- Bring your own gear – your boat with float bags, PFD, helmet, spray skirt, paddle, throwbag.
