We’ll be running a section of the Sheep River from the Gorge Creek to Sandy McNabb. Join us for a fun evening on the river. This is a class 2+ run.
Meet at the “Sandy McNabb Picnic Area” side at 6:00pm. Once everyone has arrived and is ready we will shuttle cars to the Gorge Creek and get on the river.
Requirements:

- You should have a couple of days in the Class 2 and know how to do a basic Eddy Turns and Ferry on class 2 water.
- You must be an active 2022 member of Paddle Junkies to sign up (if you’re having issues signing up for the event, please ensure that you are signed into the website and have paid your 2022 membership fees. If it still doesn’t work, please message us!)
- Bring your own gear – your boat with two functional flotation bags, PFD, helmet, and paddle.
- Also, it’s actually required to carry a whistle and rope on each watercraft (see the section on Water Safety Kits in the link), so if you don’t have those yet, consider purchasing them very soon.
