DESCRIPTION:UPDATE:\n\nSorry folks\, but in the last 24 hours the flow numb
 ers have gone up\, not down\, putting us far in excess of flood numbers on
  this section of the Bow. We will unfortunately have to cancel this run. W
 e will have another run scheduled for next Thursday at or around the same 
 time\, I hope to see you all there.\n\nThursday night Ghost\n\nThis is a r
 un for paddlers new to whitewater. We'll be running a section of the Bow R
 iver from the Ghost Dam to the Wild Cat Gas Plant. Join us for a fun eveni
 ng on the river.\n\nMeet at the Ghost Dam put in at 6:00pm\, once everyone
  has arrived and is ready we will shuttle cars down to the Wild Cat Gas Pl
 ant and get on the river.\n\nRequirements: \n\n 	\n\n 	You need to have ta
 ken an intro to whitewater course or have comparable experience. If this i
 s not yet the case\, please message us and we can discuss further!\n 	You 
 must be an active 2022 member of Paddle Junkies to sign up (if you’re ha
 ving issues signing up for the event\, please ensure that you are signed i
 nto the website and have paid your 2022 membership fees. If it still doesn
 't work\, please message us!)\n 	Bring your own gear - your boat\, PFD\, h
 elmet\, and paddle.\n\n 	Also\, it's actually required to carry a whistle 
 and rope on each watercraft (see the section on Water Safety Kits in the l
 ink)\, so if you don't have those yet\, consider purchasing them very soon
