DESCRIPTION:Lower Kan Run The forecast for Thursday is sunshine.   Time t
 o get back on the water and work on your paddling skills !     PJ's wil
 l be leading a Lower Kananaskis run from Canoe Meadows down to Seebe on Th
 ursday.      This run is intended for beginner/intermediate paddlers th
 at want to work on basic skills but don't feel confident river running on 
 their own.\n\nWe'll meet at Canoe Meadows at 6:00 pm sharp.   After dropp
 ing our gear we’ll shuttle most of the vehicles to the Seebe Dam parking
  lot.   After some skills practice at 40 boat eddy it’s down river to 
 the take out at Seebe around 8:30 to 9  pm.\n\nEnsure that you have all y
 our gear with you including boat\, paddle\, PFD\, proper footwear\, helmet
 \, spray skirt\, and throw bag.  We do not have spare equipment for borro
 w or rent.\n\nYou must be an active 2023 PJ’s member to sign up.  If no
 t\, please allow a couple of days for processing a new membership.\n\nYou 
 are responsible to bring your own boat\, pfd\, helmet\, and paddle. We do 
 not have gear available to borrow.\n\nThis is a Class II river section and
  we require that you have taken an introduction to whitewater course ( or 
 equivalent ) prior to signing up.   This may require you to demonstrate 
 a wet exit.
