SUMMARY:Lower Elbow Run
DESCRIPTION:Lower Elbow Run We’ll be running a section of the Elbow River
  from the Elbow River Launch to the Paddy Flat. Join us for a fun evening 
 on the river. This is a run for paddlers that already have some experienc
 e in running class 2 rivers.\n\nMeet at the "Elbow River Launch - Provinci
 al Recreation Area" put in at 6:00pm\, once everyone has arrived and is re
 ady we will shuttle cars down to the Paddy Flat and get on the river.\n\nM

 lass 2+ run and maneuvering will be required to avoid hazards. You have to
  already know how to do a basic Eddy Turns and Ferry on class 2 water (lik
 e Harvie Passage) to participate. These skills will be checked right after
  we start the run. If you are not sure if you are ready\,  please message
  us and we can discuss further!\n 	You must be an active 2022 member of Pa
 ddle Junkies to sign up (if you’re having issues signing up for the even
 t\, please ensure that you are signed into the website and have paid your 
 2022 membership fees. If it still doesn’t work\, please message us!)\n 	
 Bring your own gear – your boat with two functional flotation bags\, PFD
 \, helmet\, and paddle.\n\n 	Also\, it’s actually required to carry a wh
 istle and rope on each watercraft (see the section on Water Safety Kits in
  the link)\, so if you don’t have those yet\, consider purchasing them v
 ery soon.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
