DESCRIPTION:We’ll be running a section of the Elbow River from the Elbow 
 River Launch to the Paddy Flat. Join us for a fun evening on the river. T
 his is a run for paddlers that already have some experience in running cla
 ss 2 rivers.\n\nMeet at the "Elbow River Launch - Provincial Recreation Ar
 ea" put in at 6:00pm\, once everyone has arrived and is ready we will shut
 tle cars down to the Paddy Flat and get on the river.\n\nMap: https://www.

 maneuvering will be required to avoid hazards. You have to already know ho
 w to do a basic Eddy Turns and Ferry on class 2 water (like Harvie Passage
 ) to participate. These skills will be checked right after we start the ru

 iscuss further!\n 	You must be an active 2022 member of Paddle Junkies to 
 sign up (if you’re having issues signing up for the event\, please ensur
 e that you are signed into the website and have paid your 2022 membership

 ear – your boat with two functional flotation bags\, PFD\, helmet\, and 
 paddle.\n\n 	Also\, it’s actually required to carry a whistle and rope o
 n each watercraft (see the section on Water Safety Kits in the link)\, so 
 if you don’t have those yet\, consider purchasing them very soon.\n\n\n\
