SUMMARY:End of Summer Ghost Dam Run
DESCRIPTION:Water levels are dropping.    Get out there while you can ! 
   This is a run for paddlers new to whitewater who want to work on their 
 basic skills.    We'll be running a section of the Bow River from the Gh
 ost Dam to the Wild Cat Gas Plant which is Class 1 with a couple of Class 
 2 features.  Join us for a fun evening on the river.\n\nMeet at the Trans
 Alta Ghost Dam put in ( exit at the Cottage Club and drive to the end of t
 he road ) at 6:00pm\, once everyone has arrived and is ready we will shutt
 le cars down to the Wild Cat Gas Plant and get on the river.\n\nRequiremen
 ts: \n\n 	\n\n 	You need to have taken an intro to whitewater course or ha
 ve comparable experience. If this is not yet the case\, please message us 
 and we can discuss further!\n 	You must be an active 2022 member of Paddle
  Junkies to sign up (if you’re having issues signing up for the event\, 
 please ensure that you are signed into the website and have paid your 2022
  membership fees. If it still doesn't work\, please message us!)\n 	Bring 
 your own gear - your boat\, PFD\, helmet\, and paddle.  Float bags are gr
 eatly appreciated.\n\n 	Also\, it's actually required to carry a whistle a
 nd rope on each watercraft (see the section on Water Safety Kits in the li
 nk)\, so if you don't have those yet\, consider purchasing them very soon.
