SUMMARY:End of Summer Ghost Dam Run
DESCRIPTION:End of Summer Ghost Dam Run Water levels are dropping.    Get
  out there while you can !   This is a run for paddlers new to whitewate
 r who want to work on their basic skills.    We'll be running a section 
 of the Bow River from the Ghost Dam to the Wild Cat Gas Plant which is Cla
 ss 1 with a couple of Class 2 features.  Join us for a fun evening on the
  river.\n\nMeet at the TransAlta Ghost Dam put in ( exit at the Cottage Cl
 ub and drive to the end of the road ) at 6:00pm\, once everyone has arrive
 d and is ready we will shuttle cars down to the Wild Cat Gas Plant and get
  on the river.\n\nRequirements: \n\n 	\n\n 	You need to have taken an intr
 o to whitewater course or have comparable experience. If this is not yet t
 he case\, please message us and we can discuss further!\n 	You must be an 
 active 2022 member of Paddle Junkies to sign up (if you’re having issues
  signing up for the event\, please ensure that you are signed into the web
 site and have paid your 2022 membership fees. If it still doesn't work\, p
 lease message us!)\n 	Bring your own gear - your boat\, PFD\, helmet\, and
  paddle.  Float bags are greatly appreciated.\n\n 	Also\, it's actually r
 equired to carry a whistle and rope on each watercraft (see the section on
  Water Safety Kits in the link)\, so if you don't have those yet\, conside
 r purchasing them very soon.\n\n\n\n\n
