SUMMARY:Beginner Ghost Run
DESCRIPTION:Beginner Ghost Run Beat the HEAT !    This is a run for paddl
 ers new to whitewater.  We'll be running a section of the Bow River from 
 the Ghost Dam to the Wild Cat Gas Plant which is Class 1 with a couple of 
 Class 2 features.  Join us for a fun evening on the river.\n\nMeet at the
  TransAlta Ghost Dam put in ( exit at the Cottage Club and drive to the en
 d of the road ) at 6:00pm\, once everyone has arrived and is ready we will
  shuttle cars down to the Wild Cat Gas Plant and get on the river.\n\nRequ
 irements: \n\n 	\n\n 	You need to have taken an intro to whitewater course
  or have comparable experience. If this is not yet the case\, please messa
 ge us and we can discuss further!\n 	You must be an active 2022 member of 
 Paddle Junkies to sign up (if you’re having issues signing up for the ev
 ent\, please ensure that you are signed into the website and have paid you
 r 2022 membership fees. If it still doesn't work\, please message us!)\n 	
 Bring your own gear - your boat\, PFD\, helmet\, and paddle.  Float bags 
 are greatly appreciated.\n\n 	Also\, it's actually required to carry a whi
 stle and rope on each watercraft (see the section on Water Safety Kits in 
 the link)\, so if you don't have those yet\, consider purchasing them very
  soon.\n\n\n\n\n
