SUMMARY:Beginner Ghost Run
DESCRIPTION:Beginner Ghost Run Beat the HEAT !    This is a run for paddl
 ers new to whitewater.  We'll be running a section of the Bow River from 
 the Ghost Dam to the Wild Cat Gas Plant which is Class 1 with a couple of 
 Class 2 features.  Join us for a fun evening on the river.\n\nMeet at the
  TransAlta Ghost Dam put in ( exit at the Cottage Club and drive to the en
 d of the road ) at 5:30pm\, we will have the initial shuttle completed and
  should be able to get on the river promptly.\n\nRequirements: \n\n 	\n\n 
 	You need to have taken an intro to whitewater course or have comparable e
 xperience. If this is not yet the case\, please message us and we can disc
 uss further!\n 	You must be an active 2022 member of Paddle Junkies to sig
 n up (if you’re having issues signing up for the event\, please ensure t
 hat you are signed into the website and have paid your 2022 membership fee
 s. If it still doesn't work\, please message us!)\n 	Bring your own gear -
  your boat\, PFD\, helmet\, and paddle.  Float bags are greatly appreciat
 ed.\n\n 	Also\, it's actually required to carry a whistle and rope on each
  watercraft (see the section on Water Safety Kits in the link)\, so if you
  don't have those yet\, consider purchasing them very soon.\n\n\n\n\n
