DESCRIPTION:Are you excited about Kanfest but not yet comfortable on the Up
 per Kannaskis ?    Well........PJ's is leading a beginner run on the Low
 er Kan on the Saturday of Kanfest.      This run is intended for beginn
 er/intermediate paddlers that want to work on basic skills but don't yet f
 eel confident river running on their own.\n\nWe'll meet at the Canoe Meado
 ws Cookhouse at 11:00 am sharp.   After arranging to shuttle most of the
  vehicles to the Seebe Dam parking lot we'll hit the water just below the 
 race course or 40 Boat Eddy.\n\nEnsure that you have all your gear with yo
 u including boat\, paddle\, PFD\, proper footwear\, helmet\, spray skirt\,
  and throw bag.  We do not have spare equipment for borrow or rent.\n\nYo
 u must be an active 2022 PJ member to sign up for this event on our websit
 e\,  or you need to be a registered Kanfest participant to sign up on Sat
 urday.\n\nThis is a Class II river section and we require that you have ta
 ken an introduction to whitewater course ( or equivalent ) prior to signin
 g up.   This may require you to demonstrate a wet exit.
