SUMMARY:2021 Canada Day Paddle
DESCRIPTION:The last week of June is going to be a scorcher !   Why not c
 ool down and work on your beginner paddling skills at the same time ?   
  Rain or shine PJ's will be leading a Lower Kananaskis run from Canoe Mead
 ows down to Seebe.      This run is intended for beginner/intermediate 
 paddlers that want to work on basic skills and don't feel confident river 
 running on their own.\n\nWe'll meet at Canoe Meadows at 6:00 pm sharp.  
  We'll drop our equipment and shuttle most of the vehicles to the Seebe D
 am parking lot.   After some skills practice at 40 boat eddy we'll head 
 down river and take out around 8:30 to 9  pm.  While provincial restrict
 ions are scheduled to open up on July 1st\,  we will still be masking up 
 in order to shuttle vehicles.  Please make sure you have a mask for this 
 purpose in a dry bag.\n\nEnsure that you have all your gear with you inclu
 ding boat\, paddle\, PFD\, proper footwear\, helmet\, spray skirt\, and th
 row bag.  We do not have spare equipment for borrow or rent.\n\nYou must 
 be an active 2021 PJ’s member to sign up.  If not\, please allow a coup
 le of days for processing a new membership.\n\nYou are responsible to brin
 g your own boat\, pfd\, helmet\, and paddle. We do not have gear available
  to borrow.\n\nThis is a Class II river section and we require that you ha
 ve taken an introduction to whitewater course ( or equivalent ) prior to s
 igning up.   This may require you to demonstrate a wet exit.
