DESCRIPTION:2021 Canada Day Paddle The last week of June is going to be a s
 corcher !   Why not cool down and work on your beginner paddling skills 
 at the same time ?    Rain or shine PJ's will be leading a Lower Kananas
 kis run from Canoe Meadows down to Seebe.      This run is intended for
  beginner/intermediate paddlers that want to work on basic skills and don'
 t feel confident river running on their own.\n\nWe'll meet at Canoe Meadow
 s at 6:00 pm sharp.   We'll drop our equipment and shuttle most of the v
 ehicles to the Seebe Dam parking lot.   After some skills practice at 40
  boat eddy we'll head down river and take out around 8:30 to 9  pm.  Whi
 le provincial restrictions are scheduled to open up on July 1st\,  we wil
 l still be masking up in order to shuttle vehicles.  Please make sure you
  have a mask for this purpose in a dry bag.\n\nEnsure that you have all yo
 ur gear with you including boat\, paddle\, PFD\, proper footwear\, helmet\
 , spray skirt\, and throw bag.  We do not have spare equipment for borrow
  or rent.\n\nYou must be an active 2021 PJ’s member to sign up.  If not
 \, please allow a couple of days for processing a new membership.\n\nYou a
 re responsible to bring your own boat\, pfd\, helmet\, and paddle. We do n
 ot have gear available to borrow.\n\nThis is a Class II river section and 
 we require that you have taken an introduction to whitewater course ( or e
 quivalent ) prior to signing up.   This may require you to demonstrate a
  wet exit.
