SUMMARY:2020-08-27 Bow River Ghost Run
DESCRIPTION:Summer continues  !   Let's squeeze in one more Ghost run wh
 ile the water levels are good.   Rain or shine we'll paddle the Bow rive
 r from the TransAlta Ghost dam down to the Wildcat gas plant.  Due to COV
 ID-19 restrictions\, we have a reduced ratio of paddlers to leaders.\n\nPl
 ease meet at the Ghost Dam access gate prior to 6:00 pm where we'll drop o
 ur equipment and shuttle to the gas plant.   Note that the evenings are 
 getting shorter and we'll leave at 6 pm sharp.   As per AWA guidelines\,
  and in consideration of your fellow paddlers\,  please bring a dry mask 
 to wear after the run to shuttle.\n\nEnsure that you have all your gear wi
 th you including boats\, paddles\, PFD's\, footwear\, helmets\, spray skir
 ts\, and throw bags.   Also note that the put in and take out require hi
 king down/up from the river.\n\nThis is a Class II river section and we re
 quire that you have taken an introduction to whitewater course prior to si
 gning up.
