DESCRIPTION:2020-08-20 Bow River Ghost Run Another Hot August Night !   W
 hy not chill on some cool whitewater ?    We'll paddle the Bow river fro
 m the TransAlta Ghost dam down to the Wildcat gas plant.  Due to COVID-19
  restrictions\, we have a reduced ratio of paddlers to leaders.  Spots sh
 ould be for beginner paddlers that don't feel confident river running on t
 heir own.\n\nPlease meet at the Ghost Dam access gate at 6:00 pm where we'
 ll drop our equipment and shuttle to the gas plant.   As per AWA guideli
 nes\, and in consideration of your fellow paddlers\,  please bring a dry 
 mask to wear during the shuttle.\n\nEnsure that you have all your gear wit
 h you including boats\, paddles\, PFD's\, footwear\, helmets\, spray skirt
 s\, and throw bags.   Also note that the put in and take out require hik
 ing down/up from the river.\n\nThis is a Class II river section and we req
 uire that you have taken an introduction to whitewater course prior to sig
 ning up.
