DESCRIPTION:2020-08-05 Bow River Ghost Run It's a Hot August Night !   Co
 me out and chill on some cool whitewater.    Rain or shine we'll paddle 
 the Bow river from the TransAlta Ghost dam down to the Wildcat gas plant.
   Due to COVID-19 restrictions\, we have a reduced ratio of paddlers to l
 eaders.  Spots should be for beginner paddlers that don't feel confident 
 river running on their own.\n\nPlease meet at the Ghost Dam access gate at
  6:00 pm where we'll drop our equipment and shuttle to the gas plant.   
 As per AWA guidelines\, and in consideration of your fellow paddlers\,  p
 lease bring a dry mask to wear during the shuttle.\n\nEnsure that you have
  all your gear with you including boats\, paddles\, PFD's\, footwear\, hel
 mets\, spray skirts\, and throw bags.   Also note that the put in and ta
 ke out require hiking down/up from the river.\n\nThis is a Class II river 
 section and we require that you have taken an introduction to whitewater c
 ourse prior to signing up.
